Presence over performance
You don’t need to spend the day posing. You just need space to be with the people you love.
About Roop Bal Photography
I’m Roop Bal, the photographer and filmmaker behind Roop Bal Photography..
The studio
I started Roop Bal Photography with a simple belief: the most meaningful photographs are never just about how something looked. They hold the pace of the room, the people who showed up, and the feeling of being right there.
For me, wedding photography is not just about beautiful images. It’s about preserving the feeling of a moment—the nervous smile before walking down the aisle, a parent holding back tears, the laughter between friends, the energy of the dance floor, and those quiet little moments that you may not even notice on the day. I believe every couple has a story that deserves to be told in its own way. My approach is a blend of cinematic storytelling, natural emotions, timeless portraits and candid moments, creating photographs and films that feel authentic to you. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings filled with different cultures, traditions, personalities and families. Whether it’s a grand Punjabi celebration, an intimate ceremony, or a modern multicultural wedding, I love becoming part of the journey and understanding what makes your story unique. My goal is simple: to create photographs and films that take you back to how your wedding actually felt. When you look through your wedding album years from now, I want you to remember more than how everything looked—I want you to remember how deeply you loved, laughed and celebrated together.
Behind the camera
I’m the photographer behind Roop Bal Photography, drawn to generous light, unguarded laughter and the tiny details that become important with time. My approach is warm, unhurried and built around helping you feel completely at ease.

You don’t need to spend the day posing. You just need space to be with the people you love.
The unexpected tears, a hand reaching across the table, the friends who never leave the dance floor.
Thoughtfully edited photographs with enough warmth and truth to grow more meaningful every year.
